NYSACDL’s Legislative Committee
is one of our most active group of volunteers.
The committee, along with our paid lobbyist, are heard in Albany advocating for important
criminal justice legislation that affects your clients and practice. Past priorities include increases for assigned council rates, funding for public defender offices, discovery & bail reform, & much more.
